GDPR — Data Protection Rights

Last updated: November 2026

This is a template statement provided as a starting point. It should be reviewed and adapted by qualified legal counsel — including confirming your role as data controller/processor and appointing an EU representative or Data Protection Officer if required — before publication.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR give you specific rights over the personal data ORBIT holds about you. This page explains those rights and how to exercise them, in addition to our Privacy Policy.

1. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data on the following legal bases, depending on context:

  • Contract: to provide recruitment, placement, and payment-tracking services you or your organization have requested.
  • Legal obligation: to comply with immigration, labor, and financial record-keeping laws.
  • Legitimate interest: to secure the Platform, prevent fraud, and maintain accurate placement records.
  • Consent: where specifically requested, such as for optional communications.

2. Your Rights

  • Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
  • Right to restrict processing — request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability — request your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
  • Right to lodge a Dispute — with your local data protection supervisory authority.

3. How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of the rights above, contact us at info@fip.com.pk with your name, role on the Platform (candidate, agent, HR company, or employer), and the specific request. We may need to verify your identity before actioning a request, and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally one month).

4. International Data Transfers

Because the Platform supports overseas recruitment, personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA/UK, including the destination country of employment and relevant embassy or immigration authorities, as necessary to complete a placement. Where required, such transfers are made subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. Data Protection Contact

For any data protection inquiry, including this GDPR statement, contact info@fip.com.pk.
